beginners hey have you wanted to start a youtube channel and you're like oh my gosh i want to start
one but i just don't know what subject to do it on well this is the video you're going to want to
watch because i'm going to give you the top 10 niches that can almost guarantee your
success as long as you put forth the effort also don't forget to subscribe if you haven't

upload a video now this is the point where you're going to decide if you're going to be successful
or not on youtube by the niche you pick yes now could you pick a different niche outside of one of
these top tens of course you could and could you be successful of course you could but if you pick
one of these top 10 you have a much greater chance of being successful than any other niche you pick
now if you think about it the internet has created a a open area for all of us okay you could pretty
much find somebody who's interested in just about any subject it doesn't matter how remote the
subject is it doesn't doesn't matter how weird the subject is somebody's probably interested
in a subject that you're going to come up with but the key to success on youtube is picking the
niches that has the biggest audience that are the most engaged people and that's what i want to
talk about in this video now here's a tip to you don't make random videos don't make random videos
don't do one one day where you're at a restaurant and the next day you're out in the backyard
playing with the kids and the next day you're in the kitchen cooking these are really lifestyle
type videos where people just kind of record their lives and unless you're somebody they're already
interested in they probably will not watch your video sure if kim kardashian does a video on just
about any subject somebody's going to watch it if kanye west does a video on just about any subject
somebody's going to watch it but you ain't kim kardashian and you ain't kanye west so the odds
of you actually developing an audience and just doing random videos is not good we have to select
that niche now one of the primary driving factors and growing a channel is getting subscribers and
i'm gonna ask you to subscribe again right now hit that subscribe button down there but if you
don't have videos that fit a need if they don't satisfy what people are looking for they're not
gonna subscribe to your channel and if you don't have subscribers the odds of you getting views
are not real good so let's do a rundown of all the top areas that really get people to subscribe
and watch your videos now i'm gonna start with number one one of the biggest niches that people
love to watch is unboxing videos that's number one unboxing videos and you don't have to have
expensive items you don't have to go out and buy things that cost thousands of dollars you know
when you get your new cell phone unbox it right when you get a toaster for the kitchen unbox
it and talk about it what's really going to sell these unboxing videos is your personality
excitement and the reveal okay so you may want to do a little teaser in the beginning of your video
about what's in there about how surprised you are or shocked you are disappointed you are whatever
emotion but make sure you have some emotion in your unboxing videos and you'll do just fine
number two is tech and gadget reviews tech and gadget reviews these are super important because
things are technical nowadays we want to know about that particular product before we actually
spend the money for it so if you're good at tech and gadget type videos this will be right up your
alley okay where you can explain these products to people and show them your opinions on these okay
that's another thing is it's your opinion so you could have whatever opinion you want about any
tech or gadget videos number three is life hacks i love life hacks okay i love seeing ways to
do things that you don't think of and it could be cleaning it could be putting things together
it could be decorating it could be all kinds of different life hacks people love life hat videos
they're pretty simple to make and if you don't have any ideas you can actually search youtube
for life hack videos and find some life hacks and put your twist on those particular subjects
people love this kind of video and they will binge watch them it's a great niche to start with the
next one number four is top x list what do i mean by top x list well it could be the top best towns
for somebody looking for a job it could be the top cities in america where you can find a husband
or wife it could be the lowest cost countries in the world to retire at i know i watch a series
of videos by the world according to briggs i love his videos and he always does a top 10 list of
something it could be bad things it could be good things it could be interesting things it could
be travel things but he always has a top 10 list love watching his videos shout out to world
according to briggs number five fail videos people love to see failed videos and when you put
a combination of people tripping or people going down a snow uh slope and making mistakes or roller
skating and falling down or skateboarding i mean god there's so many things you can do fail videos
on and people love to watch these videos so that's a great category for you to also get into number
six health and fitness this will always always always reach the top 10 list because people are
always concerned about their health as well they should be okay that's what gets us through life
is our health and fitness and getting in shape and i've seen so many people come up with so many
cool twists on this i have a friend who was a kickboxer and he did a video called kickboxer abs
where he showed you how to get really good abs now his background was kickboxing but he switched it
over to abs and people are like yeah i'd like to have abs like a kickboxer that's what i want to
look like i have another person that i'm talking to now and they do mma wrestling and they get in
shape doing that now the the original idea was to teach people how to become an mma fighter but
unfortunately there's not a lot of money in that but a lot of people would love to have that mma
body so i think that would be a good twist for marketing that particular type of video number
seven make yourself a broadcaster that's right world and local news people love the news they
love what's going on and you know what's funny is they will watch a video on something that
happened on the news and they'll go look for more videos on the same thing now they're all
going to tell them pretty much the same story but it's the way you put a twist on it that makes
all the difference in the world so if you want to talk about local and national news or world news
that is a great niche and on down the road if you want to have interviews in your videos talking
about those subjects that will also enhance your videos people will watch this if you throw a
little bit of personality into it number eight food and restaurant reviews oh my gosh
you could go on forever on this one i watch a lot of channels where they will go into
restaurants and they'll critique the restaurant i watch dame drops i watch mark wiens i watch
mikey chin and they're always in different restaurants they're always eating different meals
and giving their opinions on it you could also do that on food products from a grocery store you
could do you know your reviews the top 10 frozen pizzas or the top milkshakes in your town or
whatever it may be people love watching this stuff and keep in mind everybody eats and everybody's
interested in eating my next one number nine the best cooking videos come on cooking
videos who doesn't like a good cooking video i watch these all the time i do like to cook
and i think that has something to do with it but watching all these people with their different
takes on different recipes i mean i i can't count how many recipes i watch probably on
chicken parmesan i still make my chicken parmesan pretty much the same but i love
watching all the different variations on it this could be the same thing for sub sandwiches it
could be the same thing for prime rib whatever it is people love cooking videos and i've entertained
the thought of actually doing cooking videos i built a beautiful house in texas i have a nice
gourmet kitchen and the only thing that's stopping me is effort at this point so i need to put forth
the effort but cooking videos man that is a great niche if you want to start out and i want to add
one thing to that cooking video thing you don't have to be a top chef no as a matter of fact most
of the cooking channels you'll find on youtube are home cooks people who just like to cook and they
just like to do a recipe it's not top chefs are there some of those out there yes but i would say
99.9 percent of them probably had no chef training whatsoever they just like to cook so don't let
that stop you number 10 big one makeup and beauty this is done by men this is done by women it
really doesn't matter if you're into makeup and beauty so many people want to learn how to do
the new you know eye makeup so many people want to learn how to put together the new outfit some
so many people want to go shopping with you and let you pick out clothes and here's the cool thing
about makeup and beauty you can sell products you can get your own branded products on down the road
you could use affiliate links of other people's products as a matter of fact most of the makeup
and beauty videos they will have links below about the products they've used in their particular
video and they also make money off of that now keep in mind all of these ideas work but keep
in mind there's other ways to make money you could have affiliate links below your videos you could
have courses you could have guides you could have training that you sell there's all kinds of things
that you could do with all of these niches but they all work all you got to do is pick the one
